Every year, in the region of Syvlon where both humans and vampires reside, a sacrificial ceremony is held. During this ceremony, a young woman is chosen to be gifted to a family of pureblood vampires and wed to a noble. The Sacrificial Ceremony is celebrated among women despite its restrictive nature; especially for the commoners.

This is not the case for one particular commoner however: You. The permanent disappearance of the chosen individual leaves you to believe there is more than meets the eye.

This year, you are chosen as a candidate alongside your friend, Coralei. Heading to the town of Crestbel, where the ceremony takes place, you just so happen to catch the attention of four mysterious vampires... 

For better or for worse, you are selected as the chosen forced to participate in the ceremony. 

Somehow, fate has other plans as your carriage is caught in an ambush, followed by an attack that proceeds to morph your being into something more monstrous: a vampire. Are you capable of finding out the secret behind the ceremony while navigating newfound discoveries as a turned vampire? Will you uncover the mystery behind the incident that placed an eternal curse upon you? Or will you become enamored by the very beings that threaten your livelihood?

As an introverted vampire who often has trouble articulating his emotions, Vyren prefers to spend time alone at his favorite fishing spot: a peaceful lake on the skirts of town. He grew up learning the trade from his fisherman father, freely sharing the knowledge that’s been passed down the family line. He finds accepting fishing commissions more efficient, taking them on alone. Despite this, he lives a frugal lifestyle similar to his childhood.

As an extrovert and smooth talker, he can be occasionally spotted in town talking to women and men alike. He is surprisingly mature and reliable at times, stepping up to be the mediator of the group when the situation calls for it.

He is responsible for training the troops of Zekiel’s division due to his ability to encourage others while pushing them forward. Although Rayne goes above and beyond to help others, he tends to be self-reliant, never asking others for help.
